Pre-sales Questions

  • Can I use my hosting account to resell?
    • No, you may not use your shared hosting account to resell hosting. However if you have a few friends and you want to host their sites for free, this is fine. As long as you do not setup a business reselling hosting on our servers it is acceptable. If you are interested in reselling hosting please contact our sales team for a custom reseller quote.

General Questions

  • How long as Inline Hosting been around?
    • Inline Hosting was originally Fort Smith Web Host, which was founded by Aaron Lehnen in November 2004. In October 2005 it was decided Fort Smith Web Host wanted to expand and appeal to a broader market, hence the name Inline Hosting was coined. In May 2006, Gulf South Media, LLC. purchased Inline Hosting which in turn opened doors to endless possibilities.
  • Help! I just went over my bandwidth; my mother is going to kill me.
    • If your mother is paying for your hosting, that’s unfortunate. But we understand this awful predicament this must of put you in. Let’s just keep it between us this month, if you don’t tell I won’t tell. In all seriousness if this continues though we will have to bill you or upgrade your plan.
  • What happened to my website?!? YOU BREAK EVERYTHING!!
    • Woah, calm down killer. If it’s something we did, sorry. But if it’s something you did we’ll help you figure out the problem as well. For the record, we all make mistakes sometimes.
  • What’s my password?
    • abcd1234, oh wait. No, that’s our password. If you forgot your password, contact our support department and they will be happy to reset it for you with proper verification.

Server Related Questions

  • What are your nameservers?
    • We have two nameservers, separated geographically and separate networks. The nameservers are: dns.inlinehosting.com and dns2.inlinehosting.com. If you need the IP addresses, those are: 208.77.98.188 and 69.61.82.222 respectively.
  • I need one of them there SSL thingies, you got them?
    • Well darn tootin, we got them SSL thingies. Just contact us, we’ll be glad to help you get it setup. Keep in mind you’ll need a dedicated IP too if you don’t already have one
  • Oh snap, I need [insert server-side program here] installed, do you do that?
    • Most certainly, just so it’s not too off the wall. Let’s say it’s a Perl module, that would be perfectly fine
  • The server is slow, I hate you.
    • That wasn’t a question, you don’t belong here. Email support, chances are they already know about it. PS - Miss Cleo loves you.
